Another Great Meeting Last Night
Last night we had a great turnout again. The lesson was a Genesis-Revelation look at our utter helplessness, hopelessness, sins, slavery, misery, and death in trespasses and sins. Sounds depressing because it is. But if the gospel is really going to be a truly good announcement, we must face the reality of our situation. The reality is that sin is far worse than we thought and the gospel is far better than we dared imagine. Knowing our sins and misery directs all our hope to Christ and him crucified. Behold, the glory of the cross!
